Reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing our impact to natural resources are a responsible business strategy. At Prime 8 we believe embracing sustainability will improve the health of the planet and offer opportunities to meet the challenges of our communities and customers.
As a business, Prime 8 is working diligently to turn our sustainability goals into actions and is always looking for innovative ways that we can walk alongside other progressive businesses, to reduce our carbon footprint and do our small part in protecting our fragile planet.

Environmental sustainability means doing our bit to protect and conserve the planet’s natural resources so they remain available for future generations.
As part of our commitment, we monitor and minimize our waste through waste mitigation strategies. Recycling and composting waste bins are provided throughout our office. In 2019, Prime 8 committed to making our offices free of single use plastics. By providing our employees with reusable glass water bottles we reduce the reliance on disposable plastic water bottles. To further reduce waste, we purchase in bulk where possible and opt for products with reduced or recyclable packaging.
We further reduce our carbon footprint by selecting a building for our HQ offices that has attained Energy Star Certification. Every year our building is reviewed by a third party to ensure the utility systems are working effectively and efficiently. In 2020, our building received a score of 99/100. In 2021, all lighting in our HQ offices have been updated for LED to further reduce our energy usage.
We know that full implementation of green and sustainable practices won’t happen overnight, but we take our responsibility to care for the planet seriously and actively pursue measures to deepen our commitment to sustainability.
